1023 Little Italy, China Town and Rockefeller Center @ Welcome to My World

已經到紐約快一個禮拜了，除了禮拜二去East Village吃日本料理和去酒吧那次，就幾乎沒有離開我住的地方太遠。因為這禮拜開始一個舊金山認識的韓國朋友從昨天到紐約後，我就多了玩伴！今天我買了Subway monthly pass後，決定要開始來好好遊歷這個城市！

( Since I arrived in NYC, I haven’t left far from my residence. One of my friends, whom we met in San Francisco, came here to stay for one month. I got a friend to hang out and I also bought a monthly pass. Ready to start my NYC tour!)

今天本來打算要直接出曼哈頓，到Brooklyn的植物園。但早上一看是陰天，就決定先去其他比較近的地方逛，看了旅遊手冊介紹和yelp的評價，今天就先做City Tour先來去品嘗美食！來到downtown wide一帶，也就是曼哈頓Soho區，一出地鐵站就有種不同的景象，很多攤販這點跟台灣很像。

(Today I came to Nolita and Little Italy area near Soho for good food. When I walked out of subway station, I saw many stands like Taiwan!)

跟我住的附近5 Av.-8 Av比起來，建築風格也感覺比較不同。

(There is different architecture comparing with my neighborhood!)

照著旅遊書的指引，決定來嚐嚐這間以龍蝦料理聞名的海鮮餐廳，我們到的時候還是午休時間，還等了一下。一開門我們就是第一組客人。

(We followed the guide to find the restaurant, Ed’s Lobster Bar, which is famous for Lobster soup and sandwiches. We waited for a while until it opened. We were the first guests.)

我們點了龍蝦湯，桌上還放了龍蝦餅乾，放到湯裡一起吃。湯真的非常濃郁，面有很多碎龍蝦肉，口感非常好。這道湯就要9元。)

(It’s called Lobster Bisque and ate with lobster cracker. The taste was really strong, full with fresh grounded lobster. We like it very much. It cost 9 USD.)

本來我們要點另外一道在菜單上的Lobster Burger，但是服務生推薦我們另外一道照時價賣的Lobster Roll，今天的價格27USD，好貴但是超級好吃的！現在看到照片我又流口水了！麵包烤得的脆脆的，龍蝦肉拌著獨特的奶油醬料，真的是超級推薦！(First we wanted to order Lobster Burger，but the waitress recommended another dish, Lobster Roll. Its price was as market price. We took it for 27 USD today. The bread was crisp and covered with creamy lobster meat, so delicious! I highly recommend it! My mouth is watering now!)

超級滿足的我!這裡採光很好。

(I was satisfied with these dishes! This place is very bright!)

紐約的中國城感覺比舊金山的大多了，果然是全美第一大！但生活氣息仍然很像。

(After the good meal, we walked to China Town. Comparing with China Town in San Francisco, it is much bigger! All China Towns are similar.)

一樣照著旅遊書來這間茶館喝看看珍珠奶茶。

(We found this tea house to taste Pearl Milk tea (Tapioca milk tea). It’s a very busy place, but its taste was so-so.)

我們只有簡單的繞了一下中國城，就往曼哈頓橋上走。

(We walked around China Town, and we didn’t spend much time inside. Instead we went on Manhattan Bridge.)

看到孔子像，總算有一個比較熟的人了。

Came back to China Town, I saw a Confucius Statue.

還有林則徐，不知為何要在這裡弄一個雕像。(It says he was a pioneer in the war against drugs in China.)

看到便宜的鍋貼店，老山東口味，下次來這裡吃看看。

(Cheap fried dumplings!)

來這裡採買食物和雜貨就對了，又便宜又適合我們的口味，也有賣活的海鮮！

(China Town is always a good place to buy cheap grocery and food! There are alive fish, frogs and crabs!)

提著一些飲料和食物後，準備往地鐵站走，在中國城旁邊就是小義大利區，只有一條街之隔，氣氛完全不同。

( Just crossed a street, we arrived Little Italy. Totally different atmosphere! )

把東西放回房間後，晚上再重回時代廣場看看夜晚的景色，這次進去玩具反斗城逛逛。( I left some stuff at my room, then we went to Time Square to see the night view. This is Toys "R" Us. I wanted to check the price of Monopoly.)

小時候的夢想之地啊！可惜我媽從來沒帶我去

(It was my wonderland when I was a child, but I never visited there!)

在Forever 21這個廣場前，有一個即時互動的攝影機，她們會選一個路人拍一張照片，還會做一些動畫效果的影片，非常有趣！

(In front of Forever 21, there is a live cam reflecting the view on the street. They will take one person’s picture and show some interesting active effects.)
