Welcome to My World

I looked forward to snowing for a long time. After I arrived, I checked the weather broadcast every day to check if it snows or not. The first snowy day was in the end of October, but it finished very soon, not heavy snow. Today when I woke up in the morning, my roommate told me it was snowing outside!!! I was so excited and got ready quickly to go see snow! When I opened the door, everything was covered with snow!

Excited!!! I never experience snowy days! But for the New Yorkers, they have to clean snow in front of doors. For them, snowing is not so romantic.

No so many people took umbrellas, neither did I. While I walked to the subway station, the snow was on my whole body. My cell phone showed the weather! I think it won’t show again after I go back to Taiwan.

It was a lonely short trip, so I could decide to visit Central Park first. I yelped the high-rated café near the southern of Central Park, Zibetto Espresso won high reviews. I ordered a cappuccino and a vanilla croissant for breakfast. Finally I could eat breakfast in Café in the morning!!!

It’s a coffee bar! Everyone has to stand to drink coffee. The café is so small; it’s easy to miss it. After having a good coffee, I was in a good mood.

On the way to Central Park, I went pass a hunted restaurant. Maybe visit here with friends next time.

Snowy Central Park! My dream scenery! I could see it in person! The New Yorkers still go jogging on snowy days! Yeah, why not?!

Even I went here alone, I still took tones of pictures with my tripod. A lots of people walked pass me and looked at me, but I was not shy! I am an Asian who is mad at taking pictures!!

The water in the lake turned into ice, not only thin ice!!!

Next I played with snow!!!I had such great time,,,so fun!!!!

The dogs I saw were so happy playing with their owners. I am like dogs; all of us like snowy days!

I supposed to visit the Cloisters and Harlem, so I walked to the upper west side to take the subway. On the way, I recorded every snowy view. Snow is not always white, after it melt and make dirty by traffic.

I was in Harlem! I heard it is a dangerous area; but it was the daytime, it should be fine. And It was also my first to cross over 100^th street.

I tried to find some special Harlem scenery, but I only saw these. Following the guide book, I walked to the Northern Central Park.

There is also a big lake in the Northern part. I want to visit here for a long time. Today I made it.

I played with snow again!

They have snow boards to slide from the hill. I played in Switzerland before; now I hope I can play with it here.

A Beautiful fountain. In other seasons, it must be beautiful.

The snow on my head almost melted, I started to feel freezing. I just chose the nearest and good-reviewed fast food restaurant. There are no seats inside. It’s one of the reasons I regretted buying fried chicken; the another reason was it tasted bad! I had to walked to the subway station to sit down eating.

I spent too much time in Central Park. It was late and dark, so I changed the plan to Time Warner Center. I heard it’s a good place to see Columbus Circle. It’s really good.

I couldn’t find interesting things or stores here. I just got a cup of coffee and stayed here until dinner time.

I went out to see Columbus Circle at night. It shows different atmospheres. At the time I was so tired and ill.

When I got back home, my roommates and the host family children came back too. My 52-year-old roommate introduced lots of good places to me and chatted with me almost two hours….Actually I was so sleepy and I wanted to go back to my room to blog…Anyway, she is kind but a little talkative…. You know I prefer to talk more , not listen more….Lol!!!
